About this product
This coffee is made from beans from Finca Potosi in the Valle De Cauca region of Colombia. For this coffee we roast the beans to a rich, dark French roast, resulting in a completely different coffee than our medium roast of the same beans. The coffee has a lot of dark chocolate flavor together with a smoky sweet pipe tobacco aroma. It has a rich full body with a smooth balanced acidity. The coffee has a dry lingering finish with spicy notes of cinnamon and allspice.

| Compared to the regular roast of this coffee from Colombia, our French roast is deeper and richer. It is roasted with more development to a higher temperature, and for a longer duration. This french roasting process highlights a heavy syrupy body laden with dark chocolate notes, without tasting burnt or ashy. Cafe Tolima Suave is an association that represents 154 coffee producers in the municipality of Planadas, Tolima. The Association's goal is to help producers to access the international market of specialty coffee. With a focus on organic agriculture practices, the Cafe Tolima Suave is helping its members to develop better quality coffees and creating awareness of conservancy and protection of natural resources. With the premium from Organic prices, the Association reinvested in its four education programs in the community to promote reforestation, sustainable gardening, sensorial education in coffee, and entrepreneurial education for women. | |
