This coffee is grown in the Karongi District by the coop Misozi Kopaki, made up of over 800 individual small farmers. It is 100% Bourbon varietal arabica coffee, so not just a single origin, but also single varietal!
This coffee was meticulously hand picked and sorted prior to washed processing at the coops mill. The coffee has an average acidity which is particularly sugary sweet. It has aromas of apples pears, and and the flavors of sweet stone fruits like peaches. The acidity of ruby grapefruit and limeade is paired against a medium body.
Abakundakawa is a Kinyarwanda word for "we who love coffee"!
