This is a fully washed AA grade coffee processed in the classic Kenyan style with multiple extended fresh water soakings post pulping, prior to drying on raised beds. FAQ means "Fair Average Quality" (FAQ) sorting, exhibiting the classic bright and fruity characteristics of Kenyan coffees. AA is the designation for bean size with AA being the largest. This coffee is a regional selection from farms throughout the Central Kenyan Highlands of the Nyeri region. The coffee was grown on average at about 1,400M above sea level. The coffee is actually a blend of varieties including; S.L.series hybrids, Blue Mountain, Ruiru11, and the classic Bourbon or French Mission variety.
