Ithaca Coffee Company is now canning its coffee - both whole bean and ground. Along with the popular Ithaca House Blend and the Cuppa Joe Blend, we now have Gourmet Blend and Red Rooster Espresso in cans. These recyclable, reusable cans with wonderfully creative labels make good gifts and are great additions to any kitchen.

The R&B series was created in collaboration between Roaster and Barista as an ongoing project to feature coffees of distinction. Each edition will be available on a limited basis as the availability of the coffee dictates.

The R&B series in canned form allows us to offer a particular "vintage" of coffee for a longer period of time. This gives the barista an opportunity to compare current editions to those previous, or to simply enjoy a past vintage well after it is available in our store.

For every bag of this coffee sold, Ithaca Coffee Company will donate $2.00 to Alzheimer's Association of Central New York.

This Fair Trade, Organic coffee is roasted to a rich, dark French roast. The coffee has a lot of dark chocolate flavor together with a smoky sweet pipe tobacco aroma. It has a rich full body with a smooth balanced acidity and a dry lingering finish with spicy notes of cinnamon and allspice.

These coffees, which are given meticulous care from the day the trees are planted to the day the coffee cherries are picked and processed, are grown in surprisingly small quantities. They represent the rarest and fines beans and they fully convey the "terroir" of their origins. We are pleased to be able to offer such a unique and unparalleled coffee-drinking experience.

The most diverse coffees in style and flavor come from Africa, the birthplace of coffee. Most African beans can be said to have a very fruity character.
