Ithaca Coffee Company is a unique shopping experience in the Ithaca area. As you walk in, you immediately take in the wonderful aroma of fresh roasted coffee. While you sample cheese and our fresh roasted nuts, wander the store and take in the artwork, by local artist Andrea Krebbeks. Take note of our Chicken Coop, full of gift baskets and decorative grass, for building that special gift basket. In addition to coffee, we carry over 80 loose leaf teas, over 100 micro brews and 6 beers on tap, gourmet chocolates, a large selection of crackers and cookies, and other gourmet foods.
History:
Julie Crowley purchased The Gourmet’s Delight in June, 2004. Ithaca Coffee Company moved within the Triphammer Mall, to their current location, October, 2004. The move increase the size of the store from 1,000 square feet to 3,000 square feet. The new store added an espresso bar and gourmet beers, and expanded on its existing product categories.
In March 2007 Ithaca Coffee Company opened its second Ithaca store in a new 2100 square foot space, located in the Gateway Commons building downtown Ithaca. The new store features expanded food options including baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, soups, and grilled paninis.
